Departure in the morning between 07:30 and 08:00 after breakfast from your hotel, then departure for the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou on a four-and-a-half-hour drive (where you can have lunch) through the beautiful mountains of the High Atlas, with many stops along the way (photos, coffee…). Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou: A traditional mud-brick town on the edge of the High Atlas Mountains. After the visit, your driver will take you to Dades after
two hours' drive.
The only meal included is the D.P.J.
The exact pick-up time will be confirmed by your
driver the evening before, but expect to wake up
early.
You will arrive at the majestic Dades Gorges after
a four-hour drive, with a few stops for
photos or a coffee.
Take your time to visit the Todgha Gorge: a
canyon in the eastern part of the High Atlas Mountains
in Morocco, near the town of Tineghir. The neighbouring Todgha and
Dades rivers have carved out cliffside canyons on
their last 40 kilometres through the mountains.
Lunch time is to be arranged with the driver, you
can either take it in the village or stop at a
station on the way.
After lunch, it's off to Merzouga for a two-and-a-half-hour drive (
). Once there, you will
stop to refresh yourself with a swim and a
shower. You will then enjoy a ride on the back of
camels to the tents, admiring the sunset
on the road after a 4x4 journey through the desert.
Enjoy dinner under a beautiful starry sky
followed by traditional music and dance performed
by the nomads.
Meals are not included except for breakfast and
dinner in the tents.
